About this asset

This bohemian-inspired roof garden scene for SketchUp features a timber pergola, lush potted vegetation, and a relaxed lounge. Designed as a comprehensive outdoor living space, this scene features a dark metal-framed pergola providing partial shade over a timber-decked terrace. The layout includes a dedicated dining area with a rustic wooden table and matching chairs, alongside a comfortable lounge set featuring light-toned cushions. Abundant greenery is integrated throughout, with numerous hanging plants, potted shrubs, and a feature climbing plant wall that softens the structural lines. The aesthetic balances natural textures with clean, modern lines, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere suitable for high-end residential balcony or rooftop developments.

The download is a 218 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can integrate this scene into SketchUp projects by using the native file format for direct placement. The model is organised to allow for easy camera positioning and lighting adjustments to suit specific project times or atmospheric conditions. Users should manage the high-density vegetation components using tags or layers to maintain viewport performance, while applying custom materials to the timber decking or furniture to align with specific project palettes and render engine workflows.

This asset is ideal for residential architectural visualisations, specifically for urban apartments, penthouses, and terrace design projects. It serves as an effective base for showcasing outdoor living potential in early-stage conceptual work or final marketing renders. Designers often search for roof garden layouts, balcony staging, or outdoor dining sets to communicate lifestyle benefits to clients. It pairs well with modern building envelopes and contemporary facade treatments, providing a realistic, lived-in feel for balcony extensions, green roofs, and private rooftop retreats.
