About this asset

This contemporary 6-seater dining set for 3ds Max features a charcoal-stained oak table and matching chairs with woven rattan backrests. This dining ensemble comprises a rectangular table with softly rounded corners and six matching chairs. The table is finished in a deep charcoal stain, highlighting the natural oak grain, supported by slender, tapered legs. Each chair features a curved wooden frame with a light natural-wood finish, paired with a traditional woven rattan backrest insert. The seats are upholstered in a neutral, patterned fabric, providing a subtle contrast to the dark table. The set includes a decorative vase with bare branches and a small glass candle holder, completing the curated aesthetic for a polished dining space.

The download is a 135 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy manipulation of the table and individual chairs. Users can quickly adjust the wood stain or fabric textures via the material editor to match specific project colour palettes. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within larger interior scenes. When lighting the scene, consider using an HDRI environment map to capture the subtle reflections on the charcoal-stained timber surfaces and the intricate texture of the cane backrests.

This dining set is well-suited for modern residential dining rooms, open-plan kitchen areas, or boutique hospitality projects like high-end cafes and hotel dining spaces. Its blend of dark charcoal wood and natural rattan textures pairs effectively with minimalist interiors, Scandinavian-inspired designs, or warm, textured living environments. Professionals often search for this type of asset when visualising contemporary family homes, urban apartments, or commercial dining areas that require a balance of warmth, comfort, and sophisticated, clean-lined furniture design.
