Asian Style Rock Garden with Pond and Waterfall Set

This 3ds Max set provides three distinct Asian-style rock gardens featuring integrated ponds, waterfalls, and detailed botanical planting. Comprising three modular landscape arrangements, this collection captures the essence of a traditional Zen garden. Each composition includes naturalistic rock formations, water pools with shallow basins, and carefully curated vegetation, including bamboo and flowering white shrubs. The arrangements vary in density and water feature design, ranging from cascading waterfalls into small ponds to stepping-stone paths across shallow water. The frames are finished in a neutral light-wood tone, providing a clean boundary for the organic elements. The textures are high-fidelity, capturing the porous quality of the stones and the layered depth of the water surfaces.

The download is a 1163 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate these scenes directly into larger outdoor site plans or courtyard projects within 3ds Max. The assets are organised for efficient placement, allowing users to merge the models into existing environments. Since geometry, textures, and lighting are pre-configured, users should focus on adjusting the scale and orientation to fit site boundaries. Materials are mapped for standard render engines, enabling quick adjustments to reflection and refraction settings on the water surfaces to match the specific lighting conditions of the master project file.
