About this asset

This SketchUp model features a set of five distinct modern CNC-cut wood screens, each with unique geometric slat patterns. The collection comprises five individual vertical panels, each displaying a different intricate arrangement of timber slats and CNC-milled voids. The designs vary from linear vertical compositions with offset blocks to more complex zigzagging patterns and angular geometric intersections. Constructed with a consistent natural wood grain finish, these screens offer a semi-transparent aesthetic, ideal for creating visual depth without fully obstructing sightlines. The uniform frame thickness ensures they can be tiled or grouped to form larger feature walls or room dividers within a contemporary interior scheme.

The download is a 41.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these panels are provided as individual components, allowing for easy selection, rotation, or scaling to fit specific project heights. Users can apply custom wood textures or paint finishes to the geometry to match interior material palettes. The clean, lightweight geometry is designed for efficient rendering, and the panels can be positioned as standalone partitions or attached to existing wall surfaces to add textural interest to a space.

These screens are suitable for residential living areas, hotel lobbies, and boutique retail spaces where a balance of privacy and openness is required. They pair well with minimalist furniture and neutral material palettes, acting as a focal point in open-plan layouts. Designers often use such elements to define circulation paths or to create intimate seating nooks.
