Hausdorf Meadow Equirectangular HDRI Environment Map

Hausdorf Meadow is an equirectangular HDRI environment map featuring an overcast autumn landscape with soft, low-contrast daylight. This 360-degree environment map captures a rural meadow setting during an overcast autumn day. The composition includes a foreground of dried grass and soil, leading to a treeline and a cluster of distant farmhouses under a blanket of textured, cloud-diffused sky. The lighting is inherently soft, providing a neutral, low-contrast base for 3D scenes. The muted palette of sage greens, browns, and cool greys creates a naturalistic, atmospheric backdrop that avoids harsh shadows or over-saturated highlights, making it versatile for architectural exterior visualisations that require a calm, temperate aesthetic.

The download is a 6.3 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this.hdr file directly into the environment or dome light slot of your rendering engine. Because it is a 32-bit format, it maintains high dynamic range, allowing you to adjust exposure settings within your software to balance the scene's ambient light. It functions effectively as both a background plate and a primary light source, providing subtle, diffuse reflections on materials. Rotate the map on the Z-axis to align the sun position or background elements with your architectural project's orientation.

This environment is well-suited for exterior residential renders, rural master-planning, and landscape design visualisations. It pairs effectively with projects requiring a soft, natural, and non-distracting background. Architects and visualisers can use this map when setting scenes in European countryside contexts or for projects where a moody, autumnal atmosphere is desired. Search for this asset when you need a balanced, overcast lighting condition that provides realistic indirect illumination without the complexity of high-contrast direct sunlight or artificial light sources.
