Japanese Zen Garden Landscape Stone Set

This Japanese Zen garden landscape stone set for SketchUp features a diverse collection of natural boulders and garden elements. This comprehensive collection comprises thirty distinct pieces designed for authentic Japanese garden compositions. It includes a variety of weathered boulders, rugged outcrops, and smooth river stones, alongside specialized decorative elements like a stone lantern, a water basin with a bamboo spout, and a sculptural bonsai-style tree. The textures range from rough, fissured granite-like surfaces to smooth, dark basalt, providing high visual contrast. Each stone is modelled with natural, asymmetrical forms, suitable for creating layered, realistic rock arrangements. The set also includes small integrated segments of raked gravel and grass strips to help define spatial layouts.

The download is a 36.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 30 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Professionals can import these components into SketchUp as individual groups or components, allowing for efficient placement within larger site plans. Each stone is mapped with high-resolution textures, ensuring a realistic appearance when rendered. Users should utilize the layers or tags feature to manage the high object count, keeping the main model viewport clean. Scaling should be applied uniformly to maintain the geological proportions of the boulders, and light-casting should be adjusted to emphasize the intricate surface details of the stone textures.
