About this asset

This contemporary armchair SketchUp model features a vibrant yellow fabric shell seat supported by a natural wood frame. Defined by a clean, organic silhouette, this armchair consists of a curved shell seat fully upholstered in a bright yellow fabric. The design prioritises comfort with a deep, contoured backrest and integrated armrests that flow seamlessly into the seat base. Supporting the shell is a four-legged timber frame, finished in a warm, natural wood tone. The legs are slightly splayed, providing a stable footing while enhancing the modern aesthetic. This piece combines soft, textile surfaces with the structural warmth of wood, making it a versatile addition to various interior design schemes.

The download is a 3.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised as a single group or component, allowing for easy placement and orientation within your scene. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to apply custom textures or adjust the material properties if needed. When importing, ensure the unit scale matches your project workspace to maintain accurate proportions. Use the standard move and rotate tools to position the chair, and consider layering it to manage visibility during complex interior modelling tasks or when setting up multiple camera views.

Ideal for residential living areas, hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout spaces, this armchair provides a pop of colour and a comfortable seating option.
