Contemporary White Marble Staircase with Integrated Storage

This contemporary SketchUp scene features a white marble staircase with integrated under-stair storage and glass balustrades. This architectural element features a straight-flight staircase clad in white marble with distinct grey veining. The design incorporates a transparent glass balustrade for a seamless aesthetic. Beneath the stair structure, a functional storage unit is built into the void, finished in a matte off-white with vertical handle detailing. The unit transitions into an open shelving section, ideal for display. The scene is complemented by a circular area rug, two soft seating poufs, a stone-textured side table, and a cluster of pendant lights, creating a cohesive, high-end residential interior vestibule arrangement.

The download is a 32.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model functions as a comprehensive interior assembly. Users should place the staircase as a primary component, ensuring the base is correctly aligned with the floor level. The storage unit and stairs are grouped, allowing for easy adjustment of the overall dimensions or material mapping. For rendering, apply high-resolution marble textures with specular maps to capture the stone's natural sheen. The lighting components are pre-positioned, but can be adjusted to match the specific light temperature of your project's environment.

This staircase assembly is ideal for high-end residential projects, particularly in modern villas or duplex apartments where space efficiency is a priority. It functions well in entry halls, living areas, or open-plan circulation spaces. Designers can use this model in concept development or final visualisation stages to demonstrate the integration of joinery and structural elements. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, large-scale wall art, and neutral colour palettes.
