About this asset

This contemporary double door for SketchUp features a grey metal frame, glass panels, and an elegant arched transom design. The assembly consists of a pair of hinged doors integrated within a fixed metal-framed partition. The design features a slim profile grey metal frame divided into rectangular glass lites, topped by an arched transom section that adds height and visual interest. Two large, circular brass-toned handles provide a striking focal point against the neutral frame. The proportions are balanced, suitable for internal room dividers or statement entrances. The glazing is clear, allowing for visibility through the partition, while the hardware details, including the hinges, are integrated into the frame structure for a clean, cohesive appearance.

The download is a 35.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When working in SketchUp, import this model as a component to ensure easy manipulation and scaling within your wall assemblies. The geometry is organised into logical groups, allowing for the independent adjustment of the door panels if animation or opening sequences are required. Apply your own glass material settings to the panes to control transparency and reflection levels, and use the native paint bucket tool to update the metal frame finish to match your specific project palette and lighting conditions.

This door assembly is ideal for high-end residential interiors, boutique hospitality projects, or luxury office lobbies where a sense of openness is desired. It serves as an effective spatial divider between living rooms and dining areas or as a feature entrance to a home office. Professionals searching for elegant internal partitions, glazed room dividers, or modern French-style doors will find this model useful for creating light-filled, sophisticated transitions in floor plans and interior elevations. It pairs well with minimalist or transitional interior schemes.
