About this asset

This contemporary charcoal metal double door for SketchUp features an elegant arched top and textured reeded glass detailing. This double door assembly features a slim charcoal-finished metal frame with a distinct arched top profile. The upper section is divided into multiple panes by slender muntins, glazed with vertical reeded glass that provides privacy while maintaining light transmission. The lower portion of each door leaf consists of a solid, recessed rectangular panel, adding a sense of weight and architectural depth. Minimalist circular brass-toned knobs provide a subtle contrast against the dark frame. The entire unit is framed by a matching architrave, creating a clean, cohesive look suitable for sophisticated interiors.

The download is a 40.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this door assembly is best handled as a component to ensure easy placement within wall openings. Users should verify the wall thickness in the model to align the frame depth correctly. Applying textures to the metal frame and reeded glass should be done through the material editor to control reflectivity and transparency settings accurately. Ensure the door pivot points are correctly positioned if animation or opening sequences are required for interior walkthroughs or presentation views.

This door design serves as a feature element in high-end residential, hotel, or office projects where a balance of transparency and privacy is desired. It works well as a transition between living and dining areas or as a stylish office partition. Professionals searching for industrial-inspired or modern luxury interior doors will find this asset useful for creating focal points in floor plans and 3D visualisations. It pairs effectively with neutral palettes, marble flooring, or contemporary wall panelling to enhance the architectural character of the space.
