About this asset

Contemporary black metal casement window set for SketchUp featuring clean-lined frames with integrated transoms and glazing. This set includes four variations of a modular window system, each featuring a slim, matte black metal frame. The configuration consists of large rectangular fixed panes paired with operable casement sections and horizontal transom lights above. The design emphasizes a rhythmic, grid-like aesthetic suitable for modern facades. The operable units are depicted in both closed and partially open states, showcasing the hardware and frame depth. The glass is rendered with a clear, neutral transparency, while the frame profiles are consistent across all four units, maintaining a uniform architectural language.

The download is a 27.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these windows are organised as components, allowing for easy placement on wall surfaces or within openings. Users should ensure the axes are correctly aligned to the wall plane before scaling. The black metal material can be adjusted or replaced using the material editor to match specific project requirements. Due to the high-detail frame geometry, it is recommended to keep these on a dedicated layer to manage viewport performance during the modelling process.

These windows are ideal for contemporary residential developments, urban loft conversions, or modern commercial office facades. They pair well with industrial-style interiors, brick or concrete cladding, and minimalist architectural schemes. Professionals should search for these when specifying floor-to-ceiling glazing, operable ventilation solutions, or high-contrast window treatments. They are suitable for use from early design stages through to detailed construction documentation where a clean, linear aesthetic is required for the building envelope.
