About this asset

This contemporary four-panel sliding door system in SketchUp features a black metal frame and vertical fluted glass panels. The assembly comprises a four-panel configuration designed for wide openings, utilising a minimalist black metal frame that provides structural definition. Each panel is glazed with fluted, vertically-ribbed glass, which balances light transmission with visual privacy. The system operates on a top-hung sliding track mechanism, ensuring a clean floor transition. Slim vertical handles are integrated into the frame profiles, maintaining a sleek, unobtrusive aesthetic. The proportions are balanced for floor-to-ceiling applications, making this an ideal solution for open-plan living areas or executive office partitioning where modern aesthetics and spatial flexibility are required.

The download is a 29.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a component, allowing for easy scaling of the width to fit custom opening dimensions. Ensure the top track is aligned with the ceiling or lintel level for correct installation. The materials are applied using standard SketchUp layering, making it straightforward to swap the black metal finish or adjust the transparency of the fluted glass textures within the material editor to suit specific rendering requirements and light conditions.

It pairs effectively with minimalist, contemporary, and industrial design schemes. When searching for this asset, professionals typically look for fluted glass partitions, modern room dividers, or black-framed sliding systems. It is particularly useful during the interior design development phase for creating flexible zones that maintain a sense of openness while providing acoustic and visual separation between functional spaces.
