The Bachelor of Science in Architecture program is eligible for registration with the Chamber of Architects (kammerfähig) after two years of professional practice. The Master's programs (Architecture Media Management, Architecture Project Development, and Urban Development in NRW) are accredited and qualify students for doctoral studies and careers in the senior civil service. The Master of Architecture: Project Development was accredited in 2007 and re-accredited in 2016. The institution is officially recognized by the Ministerium für Kultur und Wissenschaft des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, with program accreditation being obligatory for Bachelor and Master degrees.

The Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (BLA) program is accredited by the Landscape Architectural Accreditation Board (LAAB). Other CED programs are nationally accredited.

The Architecture BA (Hons) program is accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and the Architects Registration Board (ARB), exempting students from RIBA and ARB Part I examinations. The MArch program provides professional architectural education, exempting students from ARB and RIBA Part II. All three programs (Part 1, 2, 3) are prescribed by ARB until 31 December 2028. Note: ARB is revising requirements to remove prescription of Part 1 qualifications from December 31, 2027, but RIBA validation for Part 1 will continue. The course also has accreditation with Lembaga Arkitek Malaysia (LAM) and is approved by the Commonwealth Association of Architects.
