Weathered Asphalt with Scattered Flower Petals and Debris

This weathered asphalt PBR texture set features a realistic surface scattered with fallen purple petals and organic debris. This PBR texture captures the gritty, coarse texture of aged asphalt, visually defined by its uneven, weathered surface. The material is layered with subtle organic details, including small twigs, leaf litter, and scattered purple flower petals that provide a natural, lived-in aesthetic. The base colour palette is dominated by muted charcoal and earthy browns, punctuated by the soft, contrasting tones of the petals. With a 1.80m by 1.80m coverage area, the texture offers a high level of detail, suitable for close-up ground plane renders where a sense of environmental authenticity is required.

The download is a 76.8 MB compressed archive with the texture set at 2K with colour, normal, roughness, ambient occlusion and displacement maps, ready for any metal/roughness PBR workflow in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine or D5.

Professionals can integrate this 2K texture set into any standard PBR workflow by mapping the albedo, roughness, and displacement files to the corresponding channels in their material editor. The inclusion of both DirectX and OpenGL normal maps ensures compatibility across various rendering engines. For optimal results in landscape visualisation, users should apply the displacement map to a subdivided mesh to capture the granular surface depth, while the packed ARM map helps streamline material setup for real-time engines.

This material is well-suited for outdoor architectural visualisations, particularly for residential paths, urban sidewalks, or park walkways where a natural, weathered look is desired. It pairs effectively with modern concrete elements or rustic timber landscaping to ground a scene. Architects and visualisers will find this asset useful for exterior site plans and eye-level street scenes, especially when aiming to convey a seasonal atmosphere or a sense of neglect in an urban environment through the addition of realistic organic debris.
