About this asset

This collection of nine parquet timber floor textures for 3ds Max features intricate geometric patterns with realistic wood grain. This asset comprises nine distinct, high-resolution parquet floor textures, each showcasing complex geometric arrangements. The designs include starbursts, octagonal medallions, and interlocking diamond motifs, reflecting traditional craftsmanship. The colour palette is dominated by warm natural wood tones, ranging from pale bleached oak to rich walnut hues, providing visual depth and contrast. The graining is clearly defined, suggesting a high-quality finish suitable for authentic floor visualisations. Each texture is designed to be tileable, allowing for seamless application across large floor surfaces in architectural renders, maintaining consistent detail without repetitive artifacts.

The download is a 487 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made 3ds Max (.max) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

To integrate these textures into 3ds Max, apply them via the Material Editor using a standard PBR workflow. Map the textures to your floor geometry using UVW Map modifiers set to box or plane, depending on the surface orientation. Adjust the tiling parameters in the material settings to match the scale of the floor plan. For added realism, plug the diffuse map into a bump or displacement channel to simulate the slight height variations between individual timber segments.

These parquet textures are essential for high-end residential interiors, luxury hotel lobbies, and boutique retail spaces where traditional flooring is required. They pair effectively with period-style furniture, minimalist interior schemes, or classic architecture. Professionals use these patterns to define zones in open-plan layouts or to anchor a room with a central decorative focal point. Search for these as timber floor patterns, parquet wood textures, or classical flooring maps when developing heritage or luxury interior design projects.
