Contemporary Grey Fabric L-Shaped Sectional Sofa – Variant 16

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a grey fabric L-shaped sectional sofa with a low-profile design and minimalist metal base. Defined by clean lines and a low-slung silhouette, this L-shaped sectional sofa offers a modern aesthetic suitable for open-plan living areas. The upholstery is finished in a neutral grey fabric, complemented by a series of plush back cushions and scatter pillows in contrasting dark grey tones. A textured throw is draped neatly over the central section, adding visual depth to the linear form. The entire unit rests on a slim, metallic base frame that provides a subtle industrial edge to the overall composition, maintaining a grounded and balanced appearance within any interior space.

The download is a 55.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this 3ds Max asset into your scene, ensure the unit is placed on a flat floor plane to correctly align the metal base. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy adjustment of the throw and cushion positions. Apply high-quality fabric textures to the upholstery and use a metallic material for the base to achieve realistic light reflections. Standard lighting setups, such as a daylight system or an HDRI map, will effectively highlight the soft upholstery textures and the structure.

Ideal for residential projects, this sectional sofa serves as a central anchor in large living rooms, family rooms, or high-end apartment lounges. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, area rugs, and contemporary floor lamps to complete a cohesive seating arrangement. Professionals searching for modular lounge furniture or low-profile seating solutions will find this piece versatile for various floor plans. It effectively bridges the gap between comfort and formal design, making it a reliable choice for modern interior design schemes and visualisations.
