About this asset

This collection of eight Indochine-style artworks is provided as a SketchUp model featuring traditional folk motifs and scenes. This set comprises eight distinct high-resolution digital reproductions of traditional Indochine artistic works. The collection features a diverse range of subjects, including mythological creatures like tigers and phoenixes, intricate floral compositions such as lotus and peony studies, and ethnographic scenes depicting local life. Each piece reflects the distinct colour palette and graphic line work characteristic of classical Vietnamese folk painting. The artworks are presented as flat, two-dimensional planes, making them versatile for application onto wall surfaces or as framed gallery elements within a 3D interior design project.

The download is a 26.4 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

In SketchUp, these artworks are best utilised by applying them as material textures onto rectangular groups or components representing frames or canvas panels. Users can scale these components to match the desired wall dimensions of their project. For enhanced realism in renderings, ensure the material is mapped with a slight bump or displacement setting to mimic the texture of paper or canvas, and adjust the reflectivity to avoid an overly flat appearance.

These artworks are ideal for adding cultural depth and specific regional character to hospitality, residential, or boutique retail interiors. They pair effectively with dark timber furniture, woven rattan accents, and minimalist, high-contrast spaces where they serve as a primary focal point. Professionals can incorporate these assets into lobby designs, dining room feature walls, or hotel suite styling to evoke a sophisticated, heritage-inspired aesthetic. The collection works well in scenes requiring a curated, gallery-like atmosphere or an authentic sense of place.
