About this asset

This collection of six decorative porcelain tile texture maps for 3ds Max features intricate traditional geometric patterns. This set includes six distinct decorative porcelain tile designs, each rendered in a high-resolution, seamless format. The patterns range from delicate botanical-inspired motifs to bold, structured geometric grids. Colour palettes are grounded in earthy tones, including soft greens, muted browns, and clean whites, providing a classic aesthetic suited for period-style or eclectic interiors. Each design captures the subtle nuances of glazed ceramic, with clean grout lines and consistent scale across the collection. These maps are ideal for creating realistic floor or wall finishes that require a sense of heritage and artisanal detail.

The download is a 10 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made 3ds Max (.max) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

To implement these textures in 3ds Max, load the maps into a standard physical material or a V-Ray/Corona material slot. Use the diffuse map for colour, and consider generating a normal or bump map if additional surface relief is required for close-up renders. Ensure the tiling parameters in the UVW map modifier are set to real-world scale to maintain consistent proportions across different surfaces. These maps are designed to be tiled seamlessly, allowing for large-scale application on floors or walls without visible seams.

These tiles are perfectly suited for high-end residential kitchen backsplashes, bathroom feature walls, or entryways where a traditional, decorative element is required. They also perform well in hospitality settings like cafe flooring or boutique retail spaces looking to establish a warm, inviting atmosphere. Designers often pair these patterns with neutral wall colours or natural stone elements to balance the intricate geometry. Use these assets when specifying finishes for renovation projects or new builds that lean into a classic or transitional design aesthetic.
