About this asset

This commercial carpet tile texture set provides nine high-resolution, seamless fabric patterns for SketchUp flooring applications. This collection features a diverse range of commercial-grade carpet tile designs, including linear, grid, and cross-hatched motifs. The colour palette spans neutral greys, charcoal, and warm earthy browns, reflecting common industry standards for professional workspaces. Each pattern is engineered for seamless tiling, ensuring consistent visual repetition across large floor plates. The textures capture the subtle weave and directional pile characteristic of tufted nylon or polypropylene carpet tiles, offering a realistic finish for interior visualisations. The set includes a variety of aesthetic styles suitable for both modern corporate offices and hospitality environments.

The download is a 292 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

To integrate these textures into SketchUp, import the files into the Materials browser. Apply each map to a floor plane, ensuring the tiling scale is adjusted to represent standard 500mm by 500mm tile dimensions. For enhanced realism, use the diffuse maps in conjunction with a bump or displacement layer to simulate the physical depth of the carpet pile. Proper UV mapping is essential to maintain the intended linear orientation of the patterns across large open-plan floor areas.

These carpet tile textures are ideal for office fit-outs, hotel corridors, and retail showroom floors. They provide a quick, professional solution for rendering large-scale commercial floor plans where a clean, uniform finish is required. Architects and interior designers can use these to quickly differentiate zones within open-plan spaces, such as break-out areas or meeting rooms. They pair effectively with minimalist furniture and neutral wall finishes, helping to ground professional interior scenes while maintaining a contemporary, functional aesthetic throughout the design process.
