About this asset

This seamless PBR material set features multicoloured square stone paving with a weathered, rough finish for exterior surfaces. This PBR material set captures the aesthetic of rustic square stone pavers, characterized by a variegated palette of earthy browns, greys, and tans. Each tile exhibits a distinct, weathered texture with subtle, organic veining and natural surface irregularities. The arrangement follows a modular grid with tight, consistent grout lines, providing a realistic, rugged appearance suitable for outdoor pathways and plazas. The set includes essential maps—albedo, ambient occlusion, displacement, normal, and roughness—to ensure accurate physical representation of the stone depth and surface light interaction in any rendering environment.

The download is a 56.3 MB compressed archive with the texture set at 2K with colour, normal, roughness, ambient occlusion and displacement maps, ready for any metal/roughness PBR workflow in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp, Unreal Engine or D5.

Professionals can efficiently apply this PBR set by assigning the texture maps to the corresponding channels within their material editor. The displacement and normal maps work in tandem to simulate the relief of the stone, while the roughness map controls surface specularity. Because the texture is tileable and scanned at a fixed real-world scale of 1.80 by 1.80 metres, users should ensure their UV mapping is scaled accordingly to maintain the intended proportions.

Ideal for landscape architecture, residential courtyards, and urban streetscape projects, this material is well-suited for exterior ground planes. It pairs effectively with modern or traditional architecture to ground a design with tactile, natural character. Professionals often specify this type of weathered stone paving for high-end patio designs, garden pathways, or heritage-style pedestrian zones. Search terms like natural stone paving, exterior floor texture, and rustic square pavers will help locate this asset when building out site-specific material libraries.
