About this asset

This collection of eighteen high-quality fabric PBR materials for SketchUp offers diverse weaves and patterns for visualisation. This set contains eighteen distinct fabric textures, ranging from solid-coloured weaves in white and black to various multicoloured check and plaid patterns. Each material is presented as a spherical sample, demonstrating the surface quality, depth of the weave, and reaction to light. The textures exhibit varying thread weights and densities, providing a comprehensive library for soft furnishings. The collection includes both subtle, neutral tones suitable for minimalist interiors and vibrant, patterned options for accent pieces, ensuring versatility across different design styles and project requirements.

The download is a 49.7 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

These materials are designed for seamless integration into SketchUp projects, particularly when used with real-time rendering plugins. Users can load these as standard material files to apply them directly to geometry. The tileable nature of the maps ensures that they can be mapped across large surfaces like sofas, curtains, or upholstery without visible seams. Adjusting the scale within the material editor allows for precise control over the weave size to match the desired level of detail in the final render.

These fabric textures are essential for interior designers and visualisers working on residential, hospitality, or retail projects. They are ideal for rendering upholstered furniture such as lounge chairs, sectional sofas, and headboards, as well as soft window treatments like curtains and Roman blinds. By providing a wide range of colours and patterns, the set allows for quick iteration during the design development stage, enabling professionals to easily swap finishes to test different aesthetic directions in their 3D scenes.
