About this asset

This collection of fifteen matte grass textures for Enscape provides diverse vegetation finishes for professional architectural rendering. This set contains fifteen distinct grass material variations, ranging from vivid, saturated greens to muted, earthy tones and dense, leafy textures. Each sample is presented on a standard sphere to demonstrate light interaction and surface density. The collection covers a wide spectrum of natural appearances, including manicured lawn styles, wild meadow variations, and darker, shadow-heavy foliage. These materials are designed to offer realistic, non-reflective surfaces suitable for both close-up architectural visualisation and large-scale landscape masterplanning, ensuring consistency across varied project environments and climatic representations.

The download is a 23.5 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

To implement these materials in SketchUp, import the files into the Enscape Material Editor. Apply the desired grass preset to your site geometry or landscape planes. Adjust the height, density, and displacement settings within the Enscape interface to achieve the required depth and scale for your specific project. These materials are optimised for real-time rendering, allowing for efficient updates to your scene's vegetation coverage without compromising viewport performance or render times.

These grass textures are essential for exterior visualisation in residential developments, public parks, and hotel landscaping projects. They serve as a reliable tool for architects and landscape designers looking to populate site plans, courtyards, or green roof designs with realistic, high-quality vegetation finishes. Whether you are rendering a suburban garden, a commercial campus lawn, or a natural meadow setting, these presets offer the versatility needed to match specific site conditions and project aesthetics during the design development and final presentation stages.
