About this asset

This curved glass brick partition in SketchUp features a Japanese-inspired zen garden base with a bonsai tree and stone accents. Designed as a semi-circular feature, this partition comprises a translucent grid of glass bricks encased within a warm-toned timber frame. The structure rests on a custom-shaped, raised stone plinth that serves as a base for a curated landscape arrangement. This includes a detailed bonsai tree, natural river stones, and a decorative deer sculpture, creating a focal point suitable for high-end interior spaces. The interplay between the structured, reflective glass grid and the organic elements of the wood and stone provides a balanced, tranquil aesthetic that defines the overall composition.

The download is a 66.4 MB compressed archive with the textures and a ready-made SketchUp (.skp) material library, so the maps arrive already assigned to materials you can drag onto your own geometry.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp workflow, place the component as a single object to maintain the integrity of the scene. Users should utilise the native layering system to separate the glass partition from the decorative garden elements for easier scene management. Adjust the glass transparency settings within the material editor to refine light transmission, and apply high-quality HDRI lighting to capture the reflective properties of the glass bricks and the subtle textures of the stone plinth effectively.

This partition is ideal for luxury residential entryways, hotel lobbies, or wellness centres where a calming, meditative atmosphere is required. It pairs well with minimalist or Japandi-style furniture and can be used to delineate space without sacrificing natural light. Architects and interior designers often search for zen-inspired room dividers or decorative feature walls to enhance open-plan layouts. The piece serves as a sophisticated focal point for high-end projects, providing both structural division and a curated aesthetic experience for clients.
