About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI map captures a clear sunrise in a forest clearing, providing natural lighting for outdoor 3D scenes. The environment map features a wide-angle, 360-degree panoramic view of a rural landscape at dawn. The composition includes a gravel track winding through a clearing surrounded by coniferous trees and low-lying scrub. Prominent industrial elements consist of two tall lattice radio towers situated on the periphery of the site, providing distinct vertical silhouettes against the horizon. The lighting is soft and consistent, typical of an early morning sun position, creating long, subtle shadows and a cool, clear colour palette across the terrain and surrounding vegetation.

The download is a 5.9 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To implement this HDRI, load the file into the environment or world lighting slot of your preferred rendering engine. Ensure the mapping is set to spherical or equirectangular to maintain correct projection. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene's primary light sources. Because this map provides high-dynamic-range data, it acts as both a background environment and a primary light source, contributing to realistic reflections and ambient illumination on materials within your 3D models.

This environment is ideal for exterior visualisations requiring a natural, rural backdrop, such as landscape design projects, remote infrastructure studies, or architectural concepts situated in highland or forest settings. It pairs well with scenes featuring heavy vegetation, industrial steel structures, or rural residential architecture. Professionals searching for naturalistic outdoor lighting, site-specific environmental backgrounds, or sunrise light conditions for architectural rendering will find this asset useful for establishing atmospheric coherence in their exterior visualisations and site analysis presentations.
