Stairwell Atrium Interior HDRI Environment Map 022

This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map provides realistic interior lighting for architectural renders, featuring a modern stairwell. The environment map captures a multi-level atrium or stairwell space, characterised by a contemporary architectural aesthetic. The scene includes exposed brick wall textures, a clean metal staircase structure, and large overhead glazing that creates a bright, diffused light source from above. The neutral colour palette, dominated by grey tones and natural brick hues, ensures a versatile lighting contribution for various interior scenes. This HDRI file accurately represents the complex bounce light and shadows typical of high-ceilinged, semi-enclosed circulation spaces, providing a balanced, realistic base for lighting interior 3D visualisations without needing extra light sources.

The download is a 9.7 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To utilise this environment map, load the file into the environment or world background slot of your 3D software’s render engine. The 2K resolution is optimised for quick viewport previews and efficient final renders where the background is not the primary focus. Adjust the intensity and rotation within your renderer to align the primary light source with your architectural geometry, ensuring that the reflections on metallic or glass surfaces correctly match the captured stairwell environment for a cohesive and physically accurate result.
