About this asset

This HDRI environment map provides realistic sunrise lighting and reflections for a riverside tent veranda in a HDR format. The environment captures a semi-enclosed timber veranda overlooking a savanna landscape at sunrise. Key features include a wooden deck floor, rustic log railings, and a kitchenette setup with a countertop and sink. The overhead canvas canopy creates a soft, shadowed interior volume that contrasts with the bright, clear morning sky visible through the open front. The lighting is directional and warm, characteristic of an early morning sun position, casting soft shadows across the deck surface. This set provides a balanced exposure for both interior details and the surrounding natural environment.

The download is a 6.4 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this equirectangular image into the environment slot of any standard 3D renderer to establish global illumination and high-fidelity reflections. For optimal results, align the primary light source with the sun's position in the map to maintain consistent highlight orientation. You can adjust the exposure and white balance settings within the render engine to match the intensity of the scene. It is recommended to use this map for both direct lighting and as a background plate in architectural visualizations.

This asset is suited for exterior and interior architectural visualizations of safari lodges, glamping sites, or remote residential retreats. It provides a cohesive, natural lighting solution for projects requiring a serene, morning atmosphere. Designers working on hospitality or eco-tourism developments can use it to ground 3D models of outdoor furniture or cabin structures within a realistic, context-aware environment. It pairs effectively with scenes featuring wooden decking, rustic outdoor seating, and landscape elements, enhancing the overall authenticity of the rendered scene.
