About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI map captures a bright morning sky over the Rhodes Memorial, providing high-contrast natural illumination. The environment map features a panoramic view of a neoclassical stone memorial set against a clear, bright morning sky. The lighting setup provides high-contrast, directional sunlight that casts crisp, long shadows, ideal for realistic outdoor scene integration. The composition includes the architectural stone terrace, steps, and distant landscape vistas, offering a balanced mix of structural foreground and expansive horizon. The sky is largely clear with light cloud formations, ensuring consistent, high-fidelity light distribution across the 360-degree sphere. This map serves as an effective light source for architectural renders requiring natural, bright exterior conditions.

The download is a 6.3 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this.hdr file into the environment slot of your 3D rendering software, such as V-Ray, Corona, or Octane. Adjust the exposure and rotation to align the sun position with your scene geometry to ensure shadows match the background. Because this is an equirectangular map, it will automatically project correctly onto your scene's dome light or world environment, providing both ambient lighting and high-resolution background reflections for your project’s materials and surfaces.

This HDRI is suited for exterior architectural visualisation, landscape design, and heritage project renders where a neoclassical or monumental setting is required. It pairs well with stone-clad buildings, classical statues, and expansive garden designs. Professionals searching for 'morning outdoor lighting', 'neoclassical background', or 'high-contrast HDRI' will find this file useful for creating realistic daylight scenes. It is particularly effective for final presentation shots where a clean, bright, and authentic architectural backdrop is necessary to establish context and scale.
