About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic natural lighting for 3D scenes featuring a park pond at golden hour. Captured as an equirectangular panorama, this environment map depicts a serene park setting during the golden hour. The composition features a clear blue sky, a calm pond, and surrounding mature trees with dry, grassy terrain. The low sun position casts long, soft shadows across the landscape, providing high-contrast lighting dynamics suitable for architectural visualisations. The natural colour palette is dominated by autumnal tones, including dried grasses and earth-toned vegetation, which blend seamlessly with the crisp blue sky to create a balanced, ambient light source for exterior 3D renders.

The download is a 6.4 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into your renderer's environment background or world lighting slot. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene's primary light source. Because this is a high-dynamic-range image, it will automatically influence the reflections and global illumination of your materials, providing accurate light bounces and natural shadows. For optimal performance in a scene, ensure your renderer is set to interpret the colour space correctly for 32-bit float textures.

Ideal for landscape architecture, residential master planning, and exterior site visualisations, this environment map excels in projects requiring a peaceful, natural backdrop. It pairs effectively with outdoor furniture, park structures, or residential exterior scenes where a warm, late-afternoon sun is desired. Professionals looking for realistic outdoor lighting, natural sky reflections, or park-like ground settings will find this asset versatile for both quick concept renders and final high-quality output imagery, particularly when showcasing outdoor recreational spaces or garden designs.
