About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic morning lighting for outdoor rural scenes in 3D rendering software. The environment map captures a detailed rural farm workshop during a clear morning. The scene features a dirt and gravel foreground that transitions into a grassy area with scattered farm equipment, machinery, and a weathered wooden structure. A large tree stands to the right, while the background reveals open, rolling countryside under a bright, high-contrast sky. The lighting setup offers a strong, directional sun position, creating long shadows and warm highlights that are ideal for grounding 3D assets in a natural, unrefined outdoor space with authentic textures and atmospheric depth.

The download is a 5.7 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Designed for standard 3D rendering pipelines, this.hdr file serves as the primary world environment for image-based lighting. Simply load the map into your renderer’s environment slot to generate realistic global illumination, shadows, and reflections. The equirectangular projection ensures seamless 360-degree coverage, allowing for flexible camera rotation without visible seams. Professionals can adjust the exposure and white balance within their render engine settings to fine-tune the intensity of the morning sunlight and match the scene to specific project requirements.

This asset is suited for exterior architectural visualisation, landscape design, and rural site planning. It provides a natural backdrop for projects involving farm buildings, agricultural outbuildings, or rustic residential developments. By providing a high-contrast lighting environment, it is particularly effective for rendering heavy machinery, timber structures, or outdoor furniture sets. Use this map when you need to convey a sense of place in a pastoral setting or require realistic, sun-drenched lighting for exterior renders that demand a weathered, lived-in aesthetic.
