About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI map provides soft, natural morning interior lighting for 3D scenes, featuring an aged room with arched windows. The environment map captures a spacious, neoclassical-inspired interior characterized by high ceilings with ornate plaster mouldings and frescoes. The room features a distinct reddish-brown wooden parquet floor and tall, arched window bays that define the space's geometry. Two traditional tiled fireplaces anchor the room's corners, while the walls maintain a weathered, off-white finish. The lighting condition is set to a soft, diffuse morning atmosphere, providing a balanced, low-contrast illumination suitable for architectural visualisation projects that require a sense of historical character and authentic, natural daylight distribution.

The download is a 6.1 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To utilise this HDRI, load the file into the environment or world background slot of your preferred rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the virtual light source with the arched windows for accurate shadows and reflections. Since the map contains high dynamic range data, ensure your exposure settings are calibrated to maintain the subtle gradients of the morning light. This map acts as both a primary light source and a background plate for interior scenes.

This asset is suited for residential or hospitality projects involving heritage renovation, historical period drama sets, or boutique hotel concepts. It pairs effectively with classic furniture, antique rugs, and period-accurate lighting fixtures. Professionals searching for an authentic, aged interior backdrop will find this useful for staging empty spaces or creating atmospheric, lived-in environments. It is ideal for rapid prototyping of lighting schemes in archviz workflows, providing a ready-made, high-quality, and nuanced light environment that avoids the sterility of generic studio setups.
