About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map captures an abandoned industrial bus depot with soft, diffused midday natural lighting. The environment features the expansive, raw interior of a decommissioned bus depot, dominated by vast concrete flooring and a repetitive, structural ribbed-vault ceiling. The space exhibits a worn, industrial aesthetic with weathered textures and dusty, warm-toned surfaces. Natural light enters through low-level horizontal windows, creating a soft, even illumination across the floor plane with gentle highlights. The panoramic capture provides a high-fidelity 360-degree environment suitable for realistic global illumination, featuring subtle variations in light intensity and authentic ambient occlusion typical of large-scale, open-plan warehouse architecture.

The download is a 6.5 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this.hdr file directly into the environment or dome light slot of your preferred render engine. Ensure the mapping is set to spherical or equirectangular to maintain correct projection. For optimal results, adjust the exposure and rotation parameters to align the soft light source with your project's primary window or opening. This asset is ideal for providing realistic, neutral ambient fill and complex, dusty reflections on metallic or glass surfaces within architectural visualizations.

This environment is well-suited for industrial, adaptive reuse, or large-scale commercial project visualizations where a raw, atmospheric background is required. It pairs effectively with modern furniture, technical equipment, or vehicle models, providing a grounded, authentic context for interior shots. Professionals searching for warehouse lighting, industrial backgrounds, or large-scale interior environments will find this asset versatile for both photorealistic renders and conceptual studies. Use it to establish a sense of scale and materiality in early-stage design presentations or final interior marketing imagery.
