About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides a clear midday sky and natural meadow lighting for 3D architectural visualisations. This high-dynamic-range image captures a bright, open meadow scene under a clear, cloudless blue sky. The panoramic view features lush green grass, patches of wild vegetation, and clusters of mature trees lining the clearing, creating a natural, soft-focus background. The lighting is consistent with a midday sun, casting clear, defined shadows across the landscape. The image provides a high-fidelity light source that maintains natural contrast and colour balance, suitable for lighting 3D scenes that require realistic outdoor illumination without the complexity of overcast weather or dramatic sunsets.

The download is a 6 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your chosen rendering engine, such as V-Ray, Corona, or Octane. Ensure the mapping is set to spherical or environment mode to correctly project the 360-degree panorama. Because this map is high-dynamic-range, it will naturally drive the primary illumination of your scene, providing accurate reflections and soft global illumination. Adjust the exposure and rotation parameters within the render settings to align the sun position with your architectural model for optimal shadow placement.

This environment map is ideal for exterior architectural renders of residential projects, landscape design proposals, or site-specific massing studies. It works well for daylight scenes where a clean, bright, and natural atmosphere is required. Designers often pair this with suburban or rural building typologies to ground them in a realistic, verdant setting. Search for this asset when you need to quickly establish a sunny, peaceful outdoor environment for high-quality architectural walkthroughs or static images of garden-focused developments.
