About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides natural daylighting for 3D scenes, featuring a lush garden pool setting. Captured in a vibrant garden environment, this HDRI map captures the soft, diffused light reflecting off a pool surface. The panorama includes mature palm trees and dense foliage, creating a naturalistic backdrop with realistic depth and colour. The lighting profile is gentle and balanced, suitable for avoiding harsh shadows while maintaining a sense of place. It provides a comprehensive 360-degree view, ensuring consistent reflections and ambient light for architectural visualizations. The composition is clean, with the pool occupying the lower half and a clear, partly cloudy sky dominating the upper hemisphere.

The download is a 6 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this high-dynamic-range image into your rendering software’s environment or world lighting slot to serve as the primary light source. Use the equirectangular projection to ensure correct mapping without distortion. Adjust the intensity and rotation within your renderer to align the sun position with your model’s orientation. Because the file contains high-range exposure data, it will provide accurate reflections on glass and water surfaces, significantly reducing the need for manual light placement in exterior scene setups.

Ideal for residential architectural visualizations, this HDRI is well-suited for projects involving outdoor living spaces, pool decks, and tropical landscape design. It pairs effectively with exterior furniture models and modern villa designs where a natural, serene atmosphere is required. Professionals will find it useful for early concept stages through to final production renders, providing a quick, high-quality lighting solution for daylight scenes. It is particularly effective for shots requiring realistic water reflections and organic, soft-shadowed lighting conditions in exterior environments.
