About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides realistic midday garden lighting with lush vegetation and soft pond reflections. The environment map captures a tranquil garden setting featuring a small pond surrounded by dense, lush vegetation. The scene includes mature palm trunks, large tropical leaves, and stone stepping stones embedded in the earth. Dappled sunlight filters through the canopy, creating a naturalistic play of light and shadow across the ground plane. The composition is grounded by the water feature, which offers soft, realistic reflections. The colour palette is dominated by deep greens, earthy browns, and natural stone tones, providing a authentic, organic backdrop for architectural and landscape visualisation projects.

The download is a 7 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into the background or environment slot of your rendering software. Adjust the rotation to align the primary light source with your scene's desired sun position. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically influence the global illumination, shadows, and reflections of your 3D objects. For optimal results, use it in conjunction with a physical sun light to enhance the sharpness of direct cast shadows while maintaining realistic ambient light bounce.

This asset is ideal for residential exterior visualisations, landscape design presentations, and any project requiring a serene outdoor atmosphere. It pairs effectively with garden furniture, outdoor lighting fixtures, or architectural models of homes with lush landscaping. Professionals can use this map to quickly establish a realistic, natural-looking environment without the need for complex 3D vegetation geometry. It is particularly useful for mid-stage design reviews where natural context is required to communicate the relationship between the building and the surrounding green space.
