Evening Sky HDRI 040 a

Evening Sky HDRI 040 A is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map featuring a sunset over a rural field for realistic lighting. This HDRI environment map captures a low-horizon sunset set against a wide, flat agricultural landscape. The sky features soft, streaky clouds illuminated by the fading golden light, transitioning from deep blues at the zenith to warmer orange and yellow tones near the horizon. The lighting is directional and soft, typical of late afternoon conditions, providing a natural fall-off and realistic shadow lengths. The map includes a full 360-degree range, ensuring consistent reflections and ambient illumination for 3D scenes requiring authentic exterior lighting conditions without the need for additional artificial light sources.

The download is a 9.1 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this map, simply load the file into the environment slot of your preferred rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene geometry to ensure reflections on metallic or glass surfaces match the background. Because it is a high-dynamic-range image, it provides sufficient light intensity to drive global illumination and shadows, eliminating the requirement for complex lighting rigs while maintaining a cohesive look between the background and the rendered objects.

This asset is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, landscape design projects, and automotive renders where a natural, rural sunset backdrop is required. It pairs well with projects situated in open, countryside environments or residential estates. Professionals searching for natural dusk lighting, golden hour environments, or realistic field backgrounds will find this map useful for achieving cinematic, atmospheric results in both still images and animation sequences during the final stages of a project's development.
