About this asset

Eilenriede Park Autumn Forest is a 2K equirectangular HDRI environment map capturing soft, overcast morning light in a woodland. This high-dynamic-range image presents a natural park setting during the autumn season. The composition features a wide, grassy foreground transitioning into a dense, mature tree line with muted, earthy tones. The sky is uniformly overcast, providing diffuse, soft lighting that eliminates harsh shadows and provides natural ambient occlusion for 3D scenes. The panorama maintains consistent exposure across the 360-degree field, ensuring realistic light distribution when used as an environment light source. The textures within the foliage and ground provide a neutral, realistic backdrop for architectural or landscape visualisations.

The download is a 6.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into the background or environment slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the primary light source with your scene's orientation. Since the image provides soft, diffuse lighting, it performs well when paired with a secondary directional light to simulate specific sun angles if needed. Ensure the gamma settings are configured correctly for the linear workflow of your specific software to maintain accurate colour and brightness levels.

This asset is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, landscape design projects, and environmental studies where a natural, overcast park setting is required. It serves as an effective background for residential projects, park infrastructure, or urban planning concepts. Professionals seeking a soft, non-directional lighting setup will find this useful for achieving a calm, autumnal mood. It pairs well with outdoor furniture, playground equipment, or residential building models, providing a realistic, neutral backdrop that avoids distracting highlights while grounding the scene in a natural, organic environment.
