Day Sky HDRI 067 B

This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map provides realistic midday sky lighting and reflections for architectural rendering. Day Sky HDRI 067 B captures a crisp, clear midday sky with soft, scattered clouds and a bright sun position. The dome provides a balanced illumination profile suitable for exterior scenes or open-plan interior environments requiring natural daylighting. The spherical projection ensures consistent light distribution and realistic reflections on metallic or dielectric surfaces, as demonstrated by the test spheres included in the preview. This environment map maintains high fidelity in the highlights and subtle gradients across the sky, offering a clean, neutral backdrop for architectural visualisations that demand a bright, open-air aesthetic.

The download is a 5.4 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file directly into the environment or background slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene's primary light source and modify the intensity multiplier to achieve the desired exposure. Because the file contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically influence global illumination and reflections, reducing the need for additional artificial lights in many outdoor or semi-outdoor compositions.

This environment map is ideal for exterior architectural renders, landscape masterplans, and hospitality projects where a bright, sunny daytime atmosphere is required. It pairs effectively with modern glass-heavy facades, terrace designs, and pool area visualisations. Professionals searching for daylighting solutions for residential or commercial exterior projects will find this asset useful for establishing a quick, high-quality lighting foundation. It is suitable for early-stage conceptual massing through to final photorealistic production, ensuring consistent natural light behaviour across all rendered views.
