About this asset

This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map provides realistic daylight illumination and reflections for outdoor architectural scenes. This HDRI environment map features a clear, bright sky over an open countryside landscape. The capture includes a distinct horizon line with a green field on one side and a ploughed brown field on the other, creating a natural, balanced light distribution. The environment provides a high-quality light source with accurate shadows and reflections, suitable for architectural exterior visualisations. The file is calibrated to provide consistent lighting across 360 degrees, ensuring that all reflective surfaces within a 3D scene receive realistic environmental data without the need for additional artificial light sources or complex rigs.

The download is a 9.4 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the exposure and rotation settings to align the sun position with your architectural model. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, it will automatically drive both the diffuse and specular lighting components of your scene. For optimal results, ensure your render settings are configured for linear color space, allowing the map to provide accurate highlights and soft shadows based on the captured daylight conditions.

This map is ideal for exterior residential projects, landscape design visualisations, and rural site planning. It provides a clean, neutral daylight backdrop that pairs well with both modern and traditional building styles. Professionals should search for this asset when needing a reliable, clear sky environment for daytime renders. It is particularly effective for projects located in open, natural settings where a wide, unobstructed horizon is required to ground the building within its context and enhance the overall realism of the exterior lighting.
