About this asset

This 2K HDRI environment map provides realistic midday sky lighting and reflections for exterior architectural visualization scenes. Captured in an open agricultural landscape, this 2K high-dynamic-range environment map features a clear blue sky with scattered light cumulus clouds. The horizon line is defined by flat, rural terrain, including a mix of tilled earth and green crops. The lighting profile is consistent with a bright, midday sun, producing sharp shadows and accurate ambient illumination. The asset includes a spherical projection that ensures seamless 360-degree coverage, making it suitable for both background plates and global illumination calculations in various rendering engines. The capture maintains a high dynamic range for balanced highlight and shadow values.

The download is a 10.1 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this HDRI into the environment or world lighting slot of your preferred renderer. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene geometry and camera angle. For optimal results, set the exposure value to match your scene's light intensity and ensure the background is set to visible if required. Use the file as a primary light source to maintain consistent reflections and ambient light across all materials in your 3D model.

Ideal for exterior residential or commercial project visualizations located in rural or open settings, this environment map provides a natural, bright daylight aesthetic. It is particularly effective for landscape design presentations, agricultural site analysis, or any architectural visualization requiring a clean, realistic daytime sky. Professionals often pair this with ground-plane geometry to ground the model within the environment, ensuring that reflections on glass facades or metallic surfaces accurately reflect the surrounding fields and sky, enhancing overall visual coherence in final renderings.
