About this asset

This 2K HDRI environment map provides realistic midday lighting and reflections for digital scenes, capturing a coastal path. This high-dynamic-range environment map captures a bright, clear midday sky over a paved coastal path and grassy embankment. The lighting conditions are neutral and balanced, providing soft shadows and natural highlights suitable for outdoor architectural visualization. The file includes a full 360-degree spherical capture, ensuring that reflections on glass, metal, and other reflective surfaces remain consistent with the background environment. The light intensity is calibrated to provide a realistic exposure, allowing for immediate integration into standard 3D rendering workflows without requiring extensive manual adjustment of the light source or intensity settings.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this HDRI file into your rendering software's environment or world lighting slot to serve as the primary light source. Because it contains both the background plate and the lighting data, it eliminates the need for additional sun rigs or sky systems. Adjust the exposure and rotation parameters within your render engine to align the sun position with your model's orientation, ensuring that shadows cast by your geometry align with the light source visible in the environment map.

Ideal for exterior architectural renders, this environment map is particularly effective for projects located in rural, coastal, or open field settings. It is well-suited for early-stage design visualization and final high-quality stills, providing a natural, consistent look for residential developments, hospitality projects, or landscape architecture. Use it when you need a clean, bright, and realistic daylight backdrop that pairs well with modern building materials like concrete, steel, and glass, offering a professional and convincing outdoor atmosphere for your scene.
