Day Sky HDRI 038 a

Day Sky HDRI 038 A is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map featuring a clear midday sky over a flat, open field landscape. This 2K high-dynamic-range environment map provides a realistic, natural lighting environment for 3D scenes. The capture depicts an expansive, open rural landscape with a low horizon line and a bright, clear sky. The sun is positioned high in the frame, casting crisp, natural shadows and providing consistent illumination across the dome. This file is designed to serve as the primary light source for rendering, ensuring that reflections in metallic or glossy surfaces remain physically accurate to the surrounding environment. It provides a neutral, balanced daylight condition suitable for various architectural visualization requirements.

The download is a 9.3 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To utilize this HDRI, load the file directly into the world environment slot or dome light of your preferred 3D rendering engine. Because the lighting information is baked into the spherical map, it automatically generates realistic global illumination and soft, natural shadows without requiring additional light rigs. Adjust the intensity and rotation within your renderer settings to align the sun position with your scene geometry. The map is optimized for quick integration into standard rendering workflows, providing high-quality reflections and ambient light.
