Day Sky HDRI 032 a

Day Sky HDRI 032 A is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map providing realistic overcast daytime lighting for 3D architectural renders. This 2K resolution environment map captures an expansive, overcast daytime sky set above an open park or elevated public space. The image features a wide horizon line, natural diffused lighting, and a soft, even colour temperature characteristic of a cloudy day. It provides a complete 360-degree spherical projection, ensuring consistent illumination and high-fidelity reflections for exterior scenes. The wide-angle perspective includes subtle ground-level details, such as paved surfaces and distant landscape features, making it suitable for grounding architectural projects in a realistic outdoor context without requiring additional background geometry.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the file directly into the world or environment slot of your rendering engine. It functions as the primary light source, providing both ambient illumination and accurate reflections on metallic or glossy surfaces. Adjust the rotation to align the sky with your scene's orientation and fine-tune the exposure within your renderer’s settings to match the desired brightness. No additional light rigs are necessary, as the map inherently provides complete, balanced, and physically plausible scene lighting.
