Day Sky HDRI 030 B

Day Sky HDRI 030 B provides a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map for natural daylighting and realistic reflections in 3D scenes. This 2K environment map captures a clear, bright midday sky with scattered white clouds. The dome offers a balanced, high-dynamic-range light source that provides consistent ambient illumination for architectural visualisations. It features a distinct sun position, allowing for sharp shadows and realistic light fall-off. The reflections are clean and accurate, making it suitable for rendering glossy materials, glass, or metallic surfaces where environmental context is essential. The map is designed to be used as a primary light source, ensuring that the lighting and the background reflections are perfectly synchronised for professional results.

The download is a 5.5 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this HDRI into the environment or background slot of your preferred rendering engine. It functions as a complete light source, providing both diffuse global illumination and sharp specular highlights. Adjust the rotation in the render settings to align the sun position with your scene geometry. For best results, use a shadow catcher plane to ground your objects and enable tone mapping to control the exposure levels of the high-dynamic-range data, ensuring natural contrast and highlight retention.

This environment map is ideal for exterior architectural visualisations, product renders, and daylight interior scenes where a bright, clear sky is required. It works well for residential projects, hospitality designs, and landscape studies where natural, high-contrast lighting is needed. Use it to enhance the realism of glass facades, polished stone, or automotive models. The clear sky provides a versatile backdrop that integrates easily into various project types, from early design development to final high-quality marketing imagery and presentations.
