Day Sky HDRI 001 a

Day Sky HDRI 001 A is a 2K high-dynamic-range environment map providing realistic daylight illumination and reflections for 3D scenes. This 2K resolution HDRI environment map features a bright, clear midday sky over a suburban landscape, characterized by soft natural light and distinct shadow casting potential. The image capture includes a wide-angle perspective of a green park area with distant buildings and trees, offering a balanced distribution of light across the dome. Included are three reference spheres—chrome, matte white, and blue—which assist in verifying light intensity, surface reflections, and colour accuracy within a rendering environment. The map provides a consistent light source that integrates seamlessly with exterior architectural visualizations and landscape design projects.

The download is an 8.9 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To utilize this HDRI, load the file into the environment slot of your rendering engine's world settings. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your architectural model's orientation for correct shadow placement. Because this map contains high-dynamic-range data, ensure your exposure settings in the camera or tone-mapper are calibrated to capture the full brightness of the sky without clipping highlights, allowing the natural light to influence materials and reflections across your scene accurately.
