About this asset

Day Environment HDRI 108 provides a 2K resolution clear-sky panoramic map for realistic outdoor lighting and scene reflections. This HDRI environment map features a bright, midday sun positioned in a clear, open blue sky over a lush, green grassy field. The perimeter is lined with mature deciduous trees and distant foliage, creating a natural, verdant backdrop. The capture provides high-dynamic-range data, ensuring that the light intensity and reflection behaviour are physically accurate for 3D rendering. The inclusion of reference spheres—chrome, matte white, and gloss blue—allows for precise verification of light direction, shadow softness, and colour accuracy within any professional rendering pipeline, ensuring consistency across complex material setups.

The download is a 10.1 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this 2K map into your rendering engine's environment or world lighting slot to provide instant, high-quality global illumination. Because the light and reflections are derived from the same 360-degree source, the scene will maintain physical consistency without the need for additional artificial light rigs. Adjust the rotation in your software to align the sun position with your model's orientation, and use the exposure settings within the renderer to balance the brightness to your specific scene requirements.

Ideal for architectural visualisations requiring natural, bright daylight, this map is well-suited for residential projects, park designs, and landscape masterplanning. It pairs effectively with exterior scenes featuring open green spaces, gardens, or rural developments. Professionals looking to achieve a realistic, high-contrast sunny day look will find this asset useful for both still renders and animation sequences. It is particularly effective when visualising buildings in a natural, open-air context where authentic sky illumination and tree-line reflections are essential for photographic realism.
