About this asset

This 2K HDRI environment map provides realistic midday daylight and park-based reflections for high-quality architectural renders. The environment map captures a bright, clear midday setting within a public park. The visual data includes mature deciduous trees providing dappled shade, gravel pathways, and white ornamental benches. The lighting profile is high-dynamic-range, ensuring accurate exposure values across the full 360-degree sphere. It serves as a comprehensive light source, providing both the primary illumination and the surrounding reflection environment. The composition is balanced and natural, ideal for grounding architectural models in a realistic outdoor context without the need for additional artificial light rigs or complex sky systems.

The download is an 11.8 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this map, load the file into the environment slot of your chosen renderer. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your model shadows, then calibrate the intensity to match your scene's exposure settings. Because this is a high-dynamic-range file, it will naturally drive both diffuse and specular reflections on materials, creating coherent lighting between the background and your 3D geometry. Use the included spheres as references to verify correct gamma and reflection mapping during setup.

This asset is suitable for outdoor visualisations, including residential garden designs, hospitality landscapes, and public park projects. It works effectively for mid-day scenes where clear, natural light is required to highlight building materials and textures. Professionals often pair this with vegetation assets or outdoor furniture to create a believable park atmosphere. Use this map in early conceptual stages for quick lighting studies or final production renders where a consistent, natural outdoor backdrop is essential for client-facing presentations.
