About this asset

This 2K HDRI environment map provides realistic daylight illumination and reflections for architectural rendering projects. Captured in a clear-sky park setting, this HDRI provides a high-dynamic-range panoramic light source. The environment features a natural waterfront with surrounding trees, offering a balanced mix of soft ambient light and defined shadows. The lighting profile is consistent with a bright midday sun, facilitating realistic reflections on metallic and glass surfaces. The file includes a spherical projection that ensures seamless 360-degree coverage, suitable for exterior scenes or integrating interior models into a natural context. The light distribution is uniform, preventing harsh artifacts in the final render.

The download is a 9.4 MB compressed archive containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To use this HDRI, load the file into the environment lighting slot of your rendering engine. Adjust the rotation to align the sun position with your scene geometry to ensure shadow direction matches the background. If using a physical camera, modify the exposure settings to accommodate the dynamic range of the map. This asset functions as both the primary light source and the background, simplifying the setup process for outdoor visualisations by providing integrated lighting and reflections.

This environment map is well-suited for exterior residential or landscape projects requiring a natural, open-air aesthetic. It integrates effectively with architectural models placed in park or waterfront contexts, providing context-accurate lighting for site analysis or presentation renders. Professionals will find this useful for projects where a clear, bright daylight look is required without the complexity of manual lighting rigs. It pairs well with vegetation-heavy scenes and modern architecture that features significant glazing, allowing for clean, realistic reflections of the surrounding trees and sky.
