About this asset

This equirectangular HDRI environment map provides clear morning natural lighting for 3D renders, featuring an industrial pump station. Captured in a clear morning light, this 360-degree environment map depicts a rural industrial setting centered around a weathered pump station. The scene includes rusted metal structures, concrete foundations, and sparse grassy terrain. The lighting is bright and directional, casting distinct, long shadows that define the geometric forms of the abandoned equipment and small sheds. The palette is dominated by earthy tones of brown and grey, contrasted against a bright, expansive blue sky. This asset offers a realistic backdrop for architectural visualizations requiring a gritty, unrefined outdoor aesthetic with high-contrast sun illumination.

The download is a 6 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file into your renderer's world or environment lighting slot. Because it is an equirectangular projection, it will automatically wrap around your scene's horizon. Adjust the rotation to align the sun's position with your primary light source for consistent shadows. Since this is an HDR format, it retains the full dynamic range of the original capture, allowing for precise exposure control and realistic reflections on metallic or glass surfaces within your 3D project.

This HDRI is ideal for exterior visualizations of industrial sites, infrastructure projects, or rustic landscape designs. It works effectively for mid-stage project presentations where a realistic, site-specific context is required to ground models of machinery or modular buildings. Professionals searching for industrial environment maps, abandoned site backgrounds, or natural morning lighting will find this asset useful for establishing atmosphere. It pairs well with weathered textures and metallic assets, helping to unify the lighting of complex scenes with a natural, unclipped sun source.
