About this asset

Citrus Orchard is a 2K equirectangular HDRI environment map featuring soft sunrise illumination over a cultivated rural field. This HDRI environment map captures a wide-angle, 360-degree view of a young citrus orchard at sunrise. The foreground consists of tilled, reddish-brown earth with small, newly planted saplings arranged in rows, interspersed with patches of low-lying green vegetation. The sky is dominated by soft, dappled clouds that diffuse the morning light, creating a low-contrast atmosphere with gentle, warm rim highlights. The composition provides an even, natural light distribution suitable for exterior architectural renderings or product placement that requires a realistic, open-field environment without harsh shadows or high-intensity glare.

The download is a 6.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

To integrate this environment map, load the.hdr file directly into the environment slot of your rendering engine's world or dome light settings. Adjust the rotation to align the sunrise with your scene's primary light direction. Because this map offers balanced, soft lighting, it serves as an excellent base for global illumination, though you may supplement it with additional directional lights to sharpen shadows or enhance specific highlights on your architectural models or exterior assets.

This environment is ideal for landscape architecture projects, residential site planning, or rural hospitality developments where a natural, organic backdrop is required. It pairs effectively with exterior visualizations of farmhouses, agricultural outbuildings, or outdoor furniture collections. Professionals searching for naturalistic outdoor lighting, rural field backgrounds, or soft morning light scenarios will find this asset versatile for various rendering workflows. The neutral, low-contrast nature of the lighting ensures that your primary subjects remain the focus of the composition while providing realistic reflections.
