About this asset

This Christmas photo studio HDRI provides a versatile equirectangular environment map for realistic interior lighting and reflections. The environment captures a professional photography studio set up for seasonal portraiture. The space is illuminated by a complex mix of cool-toned LED fairy lights, warm golden decorative lighting, and professional softbox strobes. Key features include a decorated Christmas tree, a blue velvet sofa, a red accent armchair, and various festive floral arches. The flooring is a light wood-effect laminate, and the perimeter is lined with white privacy screens and wooden room dividers. The lighting setup offers a diverse range of colour temperatures, creating distinct zones of warm and cool illumination across the panoramic field.

The download is a 6.2 MB file containing a 2K equirectangular high-dynamic-range environment map, ready to load as dome or world lighting in Blender, 3ds Max, SketchUp renderers, Unreal Engine and D5.

Load this.hdr file into the environment or world lighting slot of your rendering engine to provide both global illumination and 360-degree background reflections. Because the file contains high dynamic range data, it will drive realistic light bounces on materials within your scene. Adjust the exposure and rotation settings in your software to align the primary light sources with your 3D assets, ensuring that shadows and specular highlights correspond accurately to the captured studio environment.
